If you’ve finished the “Companions” audio drama and would like to find something else like it, my very first suggestion would be “(To See The Other) Whole Against The Sky” by Elise Tobler, from the always-worthwhile Clarkesworld Magazine. Listening to Kate Baker read it on their podcast is what got me thinking about loners in space and how they’d use technology to fight their loneliness (though with very different styles & results). And Baker probably influenced what I thought it should sound like (especially the characters of Co & Tina).
In any case, a highly recommended read or listen. http://clarkesworldmagazine.com/audio_11_12/
In other news, I’ve been interviewed about Companions by Audio Drama Digest! Was interesting & fun to answer their incisive questions. http://audiodramadigest.com/2017/01/12/interview-bob-koester-director-companions/
